I’m a multicultural and Indian photographer in Norcross, GA, and I had the opportunity to capture this beautiful Somali wedding at Al-Noor Banquet Hall & Caterer in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The bride sits gracefully with her bridesmaids, wearing a striking red Somali-style outfit while the bridesmaids shine in elegant gold attire. In a traditional Somali wedding, men and women celebrate in separate spaces, creating an intimate and joyful atmosphere for the women’s celebration. Throughout the event, the bride changes her outfits several times, re-entering the hall to music, laughter, and traditional African dance unique to Somali culture. Surrounded by red and white floral décor, the bride and her bridesmaids look absolutely gorgeous, creating images that feel vibrant, glowing, and rich with cultural beauty.
