Playing with color is one of my favorite parts of wedding photography. As a Pakistani wedding photographer in Atlanta, I had the honor of capturing this beautiful bride and groom portrait during their Muslim wedding at the Ashiana Banquet Hall, located in the Global Mall in Norcross, GA.
The stage was vibrantly decorated with pink and purple ambient lights, creating a perfect backdrop for the portraits. The bride looked stunning in her traditional red Pakistani wedding gown, while the groom wore an off-white Islamic wedding outfit called a Sherwani, paired with a matching red Pagri (turban).
With a little planned posing and scheduled time, I positioned the couple in front of the stage. They shared a romantic glance, and I was able to capture a moment that reflects the love and connection between them.
While there are many similarities in South Asian weddings, Pakistani weddings have unique elements that distinguish them from Indian weddings. The bride’s gold jewelry beautifully complemented her red outfit, reflecting the rich heritage of Pakistani Muslim traditions. This combination of vibrant colors, meaningful attire, and authentic emotion made the photograph a once-in-a-lifetime memory.
